This natural gemstone and rudraksha mala is comprised of 108 (6mm) beads – primarily genuine yellow tiger eye with accent beads of rudraksha, African turquoise jasper, and brecciated jasper. The meru setting is a single 6mm pyrite bead followed by an African turquoise nugget (10mm x 16mm). It is hand-knotted between each bead for longevity and ease of use on double-strung deep red-colored 100% cotton cord. The handcrafted tassel is created of the same cord the beads are strung with. The texture of the tiger eye and rudraksha are a perfect compliment while the brightness of the African turquoise beads create a eye-pleasing contrast to the earth colors.

All Devi Malas are handcrafted by myself, Milwaukee designer Jackie Ratcliffe. Gemstone and rudraksha combinations are selected based on the design of the piece more than for the particular healing properties they hold. All Devi Malas are “Gayatri-infused” as I recite this Sanskrit mantra of purification during the mala’s creation.
